National Accreditation Sylvania Senior Center received National Accreditation in July 2010 from the:
National Institute of Senior Centers, having met the standards of excellence
in 9 categories for its programs, operations, and facility.

Funding Sources
Activities and facility expenses of Sylvania Senior Center are funded by: program fees;
the local Sylvania City and Township Senior Levy; a grant from the Area Office on Aging
that includes funds from a Title III-B grant under the Older Americans Act, State and
Community Services Block Grant funds, and the Lucas County Senior Services Levy.
Donations to the center, for its programs and services, are gratefully accepted.
